Canon EOS 5D, Mk II, Mk III Damaged CF pin repair service
The most common symptom of bent or broken pins is inability or difficulty in installing the Compact Flash memory card. In most cases, with proper lighting, you can remove the card and see into the slot. Every pin should be evenly spaced from its neighbors. If any are uneven, or if you can see the side of a pin, it is bent. Slightly trickier to spot are missing pins, but that still qualifies for this repair offer.
Even if pins are missing entirely, we will replace them.
The camera should still turn on, and if it does not turn on with a fresh battery, it has further damage. We can still fix it, but not under this repair listing. Please contact us directly (800-286-9027).
If CF pin damage is your problem, LeZot Camera Repair will restore your camera to its original condition. You spent your hard-earned money on that camera, so why just throw it away? If it has served you well until now, return the favor and get your Canon EOS 5D series the LeZot treatment.
Our discounted Internet Special of $195.00 includes:
- Repairing or replacing the bent pins, as needed
- Re-soldering of the internal connections
- General cleaning of the entire camera
- 90 day limited service warranty
Please note that cameras showing signs of tampering will incur additional charges.
Before shipping your camera, please examine your memory cards. We have found that the cards themselves are often damaged at the same time as the pins, and a damaged card could break your camera again! If there is any doubt, you can send the card too (please backup all images first), and we can often repair that as well - included in the discounted $195 price.
Turn-around time for this internet special is 7-10 business days from when we receive your pre-paid repair to the time we ship it back UPS Ground. If you need a rush, let us know and we can negotiate a date and rush charge. Please note that business days are Monday-Saturday.
Upon purchase, ship camera to:

to have it back in my hands and functioning beautifully. I also want
to thank you for the photo of the damaged card you included. My card
did indeed have a gouge in it and little bits of plastic covering a
couple of the holes. I bought a new 4 gig card and will probably never
remove it from the camera.

This process was entirely pain free. The turnaround time for my repair we very reasonable. I even called in with a question and got an answer from a real live person and not an answering machine. I am very satisfied with the repair and the cost. If the need arises I will not hesitate to use them again.

I recently invested in a Canon 5D and before I could take my first image, we realized the pins in the CF card reader were bent and broken. We shipped the body off to Canon to have them send it back "not repairable" ...with the suggestion of buying a new body. We found Lezot online and my husband called. "Sure, no problem"...my husbands description "this guy sounds like he knows his shit"... In less than two weeks I had my camera back and cannot express how grateful I am for their professionalism, timeliness and mad camera skills! Thank you!!!!!
Quick service, reasonable price, great people

Thank you friends at LeZot for repairing my camera in a timely fashion for a reasonable price! I was loathe to live without it, but with CPS asking 3x your price for repair, I was up the proverbial creek, desperately seeking a way of moving forward. You provided that way!
