Our flat-rate repair service covers all the most common problems with the Canonet G-III series, including jammed shutter, light leaks, metering problems, and film advance problems.  The only things not covered would be fluid damage, sand damage, or abuse.
Internal cleaning, calibration and lubrication are all included in the flat-rate price.  We also replace the foam light seals around the back door, and adjust the light meter to read accurately with modern (silver or alkaline) batteries.  No need for zinc-air cells or voltage converters!

The Canonet Series, often referred to as "the poor man's Leica," has earned a devoted following for excellent optical quality and durability.  Even these workhorses need a little maintenance once in a while, so let LeZot Camera Repair tune your Canonet up and get it back into superb shape.

Applies to the Canonet G-III QL17 and Canonet G-III QL19 cameras.  If you have a different model, please contact us before purchasing.

We work on most of the Canonet series, but there are some exceptions.

    Great Service! Unfortunate Fees

Posted by Alex on 8th Mar 2017

Servicing of my Canonet is great - very satisfied with all the aspects of the repair. Looking forward to shooting my first roll!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because a commercial invoice was missing when my camera was mailed back to me, which caused a lengthy customs delay back to Canada and lots of additional handling fees.

    Pleased with work

I've just got back my first roll (400 speed print) with the Canonet and am very pleased. Everything mechanical worked and the exposure was right on. I'll use this Canonet along with my (original) Canonet 2.8.
