Canon Canonet Repair Service
Our flat-rate repair service covers all the most common problems with the Canonet G-III series, including jammed shutter, light leaks, metering problems, and film advance problems. The only things not covered would be fluid damage, sand damage, or abuse.
Internal cleaning, calibration and lubrication are all included in the flat-rate price. We also replace all the foam light seals around the back door, and adjust the light meter to read accurately with modern (silver or alkaline) batteries. No need for zinc-air cells or voltage converters!
The Canonet Series, often referred to as "the poor man's Leica," has earned a devoted following for excellent optical quality and durability. Even these workhorses need a little maintenance once in a while, so let LeZot Camera Repair tune your Canonet up and get it back into superb shape.
Applies to the Canonet G-III QL17 and Canonet G-III QL19 cameras. If you have a different model, or if your camera does not have the GIII badge on the front, please contact us before purchasing. We will work on most of the Canonet series, but there are some exceptions.

I purchased a QL17 that was functional but had a gummed shutter, dead light meter, and needed a new top cover. I conversed at length with the gentlemen at LeZot/Complete- they offered to replace the top cover for a minor fee (cost of the part). I managed to find a nonfunctional canonet of the same model and sent it to them- they swapped the parts free of charge. Returned in 3 weeks functioning beautifully. Can not recommend enough!

I sent in my Canonet in for full CLA and was totally thrilled with the quality job you performed. The camera came back quickly and truly felt like a brand new camera. After shooting a few rolls it was obvious that the job you performed was top notch. Thank you so much. I'll be recommending everyone use you for services.

The shutter on my Canonet G-III QL17 stopped working months back and was devastated. I sent it in to Lezot for service and they fixed and cleaned up everything very quickly! My canonet feels brand new, and I could be more pleased with the work. Should anything ever happen to the camera in the future, I will definitely be sending it back here for service. Thanks !
Over rated eBay find made PERFECT!

An eBay seller seriously over rated the condition of a Canon QL17 GIII which they sold me; much to my dismay. However, LeZot's was able to repair, CLA, and fix the meter to perfect condition. I am extremely happy with the incredible fast and professional service that I received. I will be a repeat customer!

My mom recently found all my dad's old cameras and gave them to me. One of them was a QL 17 that was cosmetically perfect but the shutter was inoperative and the light seals were gone. I sent it in to LeZot's and two weeks later, I had a perfectly functioning camera again. I was very impressed with the speed and the service. I would definitely use them in the future.
Great Service! Unfortunate Fees

Servicing of my Canonet is great - very satisfied with all the aspects of the repair. Looking forward to shooting my first roll!
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because a commercial invoice was missing when my camera was mailed back to me, which caused a lengthy customs delay back to Canada and lots of additional handling fees.

I've just got back my first roll (400 speed print) with the Canonet and am very pleased. Everything mechanical worked and the exposure was right on. I'll use this Canonet along with my (original) Canonet 2.8.
